Domaine de Fontenille

In the heart of Provence, the Domaine de Fontenille is one of the rare Provençal properties that has retained its original appearance. This country house offers 18 refined and discreet luxury rooms and suites are unique and an appartment. Bright and facing the garden, these rooms blend different styles, classicism tinged with the warm rays of the South, with flowing and poetic contemporary lines. Bordered by a park, protected by cedars and plane trees, offering a view on wild landscapes, vineyard, the Luberon foothills and the Montagne Sainte Victoire. The park includes several gardens, a 20 meter heated outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and a hammam that all invite you to experience total tranquility for your well-being.

Currently being converted to organic farming, the Domain offers well-crafted wines. The wine cellar and the tasting shop are open to visitors all year round.

Contemporary art is everywhere at the Domain: each family room and bedroom is decorated with one or more contemporary artists from the collections of major museums. In addition, the former wine cellar annually hosts 4 collective thematic or personal exhibitions from contemporary artists, in partnership with galleries and international institutions.

Have a drink on the terrace of the Fontenille Estate, facing the park with its cedars and centenary plane trees, the typical Provençal village of Lauris overlooking the Durance Valley like a postcard in the background.

The gourmet restaurant Le Champ des Lunes, and the La Cuisine d'Amélie restaurant are led by the starred chef Benjamin Patîssier, who offers you spontaneous cuisine, both modern and close to the terroir.
