Castello di Semivicoli is a Seventeenth Century castle situated in Central Italy, on a gentle hill of Abruzzo in the disctrict of Chieti. Here, at 356 metres above the sea level, the beauty of Mount Majella only 20 km away and the sparkling blue of the Adriatic Sea, only 30 minutes away, are both clearly seen.
The building was the property of Baron Perticone and boasts a fully functional oil mill, built in 1836, and a cellar with huge chestnut casks dating back to the beginning of the nineteenth century AD. In 2004, wine producer Gianni Masciarelli and his wife fell in love with this castle and started a 5 years restoration carried out in full respect of the historical characteristics.
