These fine hotel accessories have their origins in a fragrance produced in Grasse. The depth of this fragrance revealed in its dynamic, layered composition, lends an added dimension to the Authentic Hotels seal of quality.
The Authentic Hotels perfume was created using natural ingredients such as lavender, mint, geranium, and other quality fragrances, including Calabrian bergamot.
• head notes: Calabrian bergamot from Calabria, Sicilian lemon, apple, pineapple, melon, mint, fig leaves and sea spray
• heart notes: Jasmine, lily, lavender, geranium and violet.
• base notes: Sandalwood, vetiver, iris, coconut, fig, amber and musk.
About Pierre Bourdon
Considered one of the best perfumers in the world, Pierre Bourdon has created legendary perfumes, such as Cool Water by Davidoff (the most sold men’s fragrance worldwide for eight years running), Dolce Vita by Christian Dior, and Kouros by Yves Saint Laurent. Pierre Bourdon learnt his trade working with Edmond Roudnitska, pioneer and formidable master French perfumer. He went on to develop his talent at Roure Bertrand, where he stayed for eleven years, before co-founding Takasago Europe. He worked for Quest before accepted chairmanship of Fragrance Ressources France in 1993. Parallel to this, Pierre Bourdon was consultant to Perfume id, a company specialising in layered atmosphere perfumes.
